April Szilagyi, Psy.D., CSOTP
Dr. April Szilagyi obtained her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in her home state of Indiana. After completing her bachelors degree she worked for a home-based organization providing counseling for at-risk youth and families involved with the Department of Social Services.
Dr. Szilagyi, a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) in the Commonwealth of Virginia, works extensively with the offender population. Dr. Szilagyi has specialized in working with individuals who have committed a sexual offense since 2007. Specifically, Dr. Szilagyi conducts sex offender evaluations and facilitates therapy groups for adult sex offenders, as well as in juvenile sex offender programs providing services to adolescents and their families.
Dr. Szilagyi then sought to pursue a Masters Degree in Forensic Psychology, which brought her to the Northern Virginia area. Dr. Szilagyi obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology in 2014 and since that time has expanded her practice to working with different forensic populations. Currently, she takes many referrals from the courts in Virginia and West Virginia, attorneys, various local Departments of Social Services, police departments, and local school systems. Dr. Szilagyi regularly provides expert testimony in courts in Virginia and West Virginia.

Stephanie Gosnell, MSW, LCSW
Stephanie has worked in the human services field since 2008 when she began working with children and adults with developmental disabilities. She obtained her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in 2011 and her Master’s in Social Work in 2015. Upon graduating with her MSW, Stephanie worked in juvenile corrections. She then worked providing outpatient services to all types of clients.
Stephanie joined the EAS Winchester team in 2019 in order to provide psychotherapy. Stephanie is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and provides trauma-informed services. Stephanie is working towards becoming a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Jason Elias Wilson, MA, CRC, CSOTP, DC-LPC, VA-LPC
Jason is a highly qualified and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive training and expertise in rehabilitation counseling and sex offender treatment. With credentials that span Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Virginia Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP), and licensed professional counseling statuses in both Washington, D.C., and Virginia, Wilson's professional portfolio is both impressive and comprehensive.
Wilson embarked on his educational journey at South Carolina State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Family & Consumer Science/Child Development. His passion for making a difference in the lives of others led him to pursue a Master's in Clinical Mental Health/Rehabilitation Counseling at The University of the District of Columbia, where he graduated with a commendable GPA of 3.5. His academic achievements include passing the CRC exam in July 2020 and the NCMHCE in March 2024, solidifying his expertise in the field.
Since January 2020, Wilson has been providing specialized therapy as a Sex Offender Treatment Provider at E.A.S. Winchester in Virginia, addressing the needs of children, adolescents, and adults. His work at Loudoun Psychological Services, starting in July 2019, further showcases his versatility as a Behavioral Health Clinician. Here, Wilson manages a diverse caseload, offering individual therapy focused on a wide array of issues such as anxiety, anger, self-esteem deficits, mood management, PTSD, sexual abuse, identity issues, substance abuse, and coping skill development.
Wilson's career also includes significant contributions to The Psychiatric Institute of Washington from June 2015 to June 2019. As a Psychiatric Counselor, he facilitated counseling for students, focusing on social norms, problem-solving, and anger management techniques. His role as a Child/Adolescent Substitute Teacher at the same institution allowed him to create interactive lesson plans aimed at improving at-risk behavior among adolescents.
His early career as a Teacher’s Aide at Highroad Middle School Academy in Washington, D.C., highlights his foundational commitment to assisting students with behavioral crises and learning barriers, an experience that has undoubtedly enriched his counseling approach.
Wilson's professional development is marked by supervised training in various internships that provided vocational training, assessments, job search assistance, career awareness counseling, and support for youth programs. Kristen Haight, MS
Kristen has worked in the human services field since 2010 when she began working within corrections at a local institution. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010. While working within corrections, Kristen has over 10 years of experience working with the sex offender population both in the institution and community settings. Having a passion with working with individuals in a more therapeutic type setting, Kristen decided to return to school to pursue her Master’s in Clinical Psychology. She completed her internship and practicum under the supervision of Dr. Szilagyi. She graduated in October 2024.
Kristen is working towards becoming a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Melissa Pearce-Gonzales, B.S.
Melissa is the Forensic Assistant in the office for Dr. Szilagyi. She is typically the friendly voice you will encounter upon contacting our office. Melissa handles everything in the office from billing, to scheduling appointments, to keeping the office running smoothly. She has been in the office since October 2015.
She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Psychology from Radford University in 2000. When Melissa is not in the office she is spending time with her husband and 3 children.
